This Touching Disney Tribute To American Sniper Chris Kyle Makes Up For The Fact That He Was Kind Of Racist

Of the many valid criticisms of American Sniper, the one that sits at the forefront is accusations of a biased portrayal of the Iraqi civilians. There’s not a single Iraqi in the film that is not either 1) helping the terrorists or 2) a coward. For these reasons, the film is bad and racist.

But, it’s important that we honor Chris Kyle the hero and killing machine, not the racist man who disliked Muslim savages. And this touching image of Aladdin saying goodbye to Chris one last time is not only moving, but thought provoking, and it’s also brave. [tc-mark]
